I am passionate about Exercise Physiology because it enables me to help my clients improve their functional strength and capacity, ultimately enhancing their quality of life.
My journey into exercise physiology began with a keen interest in sports, health, and wellbeing from a young age. This passion guided me through my educational pursuits, culminating in a Bachelor of Science in Exercise, Sport, and Rehabilitation in 2017, a Master of Clinical Exercise Physiology in 2019, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Disability and Rehabilitation in 2020.
Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working with a diverse range of clients, from children to adults, and across various health conditions, including musculoskeletal, neurological, cardiovascular, and metabolic disorders. My professional experience extends into occupational health, where I have applied my expertise to assist workers in returning to work and enhancing workplace health and safety.
In addition to my work as an Exercise Physiologist, I have a rich background in sports. I played elite rugby league for South Africa from 2018 to 2022, an experience that deepened my understanding of athletic performance and the demands of high-level competition. Currently, I am also a professional bull rider with the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association, traveling to America to compete during the rodeo season since 2023.
Outside of my professional commitments, I am dedicated to fostering long-term health and fitness. In my spare time, I enjoy working as an assistant coach with the No Limits Hamersley Netball Club, helping individuals with intellectual disabilities actively participate in netball, or hitting the training paddock to stay fit in pursuit of my own personal sporting/fitness endeavors. My broad interests and commitment to health and wellbeing are at the heart of my approach as an Exercise Physiologist, ensuring I provide comprehensive care and support to my clients.
